It is an extraordinary software produced by Chaos – Vantage is its name! It allows you to generate high-impact photographic renderings using pure real-time ray tracing, starting from scenes set up with V-Ray and Corona files.

To achieve these results, the technology used is from NVIDIA, which enables outcomes that far surpass the quality of rendering engines like Unreal Engine, for example. The minimum graphics card I recommend is the GeForce RTX 4060: a card with a fairly low cost. This means that with a minimal investment, we can achieve great rendering speed. (I’m not a hardware expert, but my personal experience with this card has been very, very positive!)

Nowadays, it no longer makes any sense to render frame by frame with the classic rendering engine (V-Ray or Corona, to be clear). These are more suited for “taking photorealistic snapshots,” and in this regard, they remain the best. But for animations and exploring scenes, the new Vantage rendering engine is definitely the new great opportunity.
